Planning Ahead

Winterset Comprehensive Plan Public Workshop

Thursday • April 7th • 6:00 – 7:30pm
Jackson Building, 1145 W Summit St

How do you want the City of Winterset to continually improve? Attending the Winterset Comprehensive Plan Public Workshop is your chance to let your voice be heard!

And you don’t even have to find a babysitter! Confluence – Landscape Architecture will lead activities for youth where they build a box city. They will talk about what they may want to live next to and why, what’s nice about our community, what makes sense together, etc. This is not just an arts and crafts project, this is an opportunity to gather their input. In the next 5 to 10 years, these “kids” will be adults, so figuring out what is important to them is an important part of the overall Comprehensive Plan.
