The Winterset Stage at the Iowa Theater
Tonight, the Winterset Stage unveils their Night of Vaudeville variety show! The show will actually happen over three nights—Thursday, Friday & Saturday—and will showcase performers from throughout our community and their talents. All proceeds from this event are being directed to a newly-formed endowment that will be used to provide scholarships for art education opportunities to youth in our community. Seats are still available at the door for all three shows! Tickets are $10.

This classic romantic comedy focuses on Tracy Lord (Katharine Hepburn), a Philadelphia socialite who has split from her husband, C.K. Dexter Haven (Cary Grant), due both to his drinking and to her overly demanding nature. As Tracy prepares to wed the wealthy George Kittredge (John Howard), she crosses paths with both Dexter and prying reporter Macaulay Connor (James Stewart). Five-Week Spring Dance Session

Winterset Ballet & Dance
Do you have a kid who is always dancing around the house, but you’re not sure their ready for a long term commitment to dance lessons? Let your young dancer try the five-week spring session for 2-8 year olds at Winterset Ballet & Dance. These classes are the perfect way for your young ball of energy to try out dance! Classes will be held on Wednesdays from April 5 through May 3. Cost is $50 for the five-week session.
- 2-3 year old Twinkle Babies-pre-tap and pre-ballet class | 30 minute morning class
- 4-5 year old Twinkle Stars combo class-tap and ballet | 30 minute class, after school
- 6-8 year old Mini-Ballet/Jazz combo class | 45 minute class, after school
