Donkey Basketball – Post Prom Fundraiser

Today • March 2 • 6:00 Farmer Olympics, 7:00 Donkeyball
Winterset High School Gym

New rodeo stars will be born at the Winterset High School Gym tonight during Donkeyball—it’s basketball played on real life donkeys!

The doors open at 5:30 and the Madison County Pork Producers and Cattlemen will be heating up the concession stand. Test your luck at a 50/50 raffle. Farmer Olympics will start at 6:00 as 8 local teams attempt a timed obstacle course to claim their dominance in the farming world.

The main attraction—Donkey Basketball—will begin at 7:00 with two games: “Local Heroes” vs. “Mystery Team” and “Teachers” vs. “Students”. The winner of the first two matches will face off in the championship game. All of this while the players are attempting to ride 500 pounds of pure dynamite in the form of famous comedy donkeys!

It will be a fun filled family and community night and all proceeds will go to support the Winterset Post Prom activities.
