Weekend in Winterset, Nov. 3-5

Students in the Winterset Husky Drama and Music Departments have been hard at work since the beginning of the school year to produce their fall musical, Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein. This weekend the show debuts on Friday evening at 7:00, with additional performances on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 and again at 7:00 pm. Having a student of my own with a small part in her first high school show, I know they can’t wait to share it with you! If you did not buy tickets in advance online, an option which has now closed, you can still purchase them at the door before each performance.

Some of the leading roles are played by Garrett Livingston, Amanda Riley, Gracie Daniels, Nick McCutchan, Bekah Nau, Konner Wills, Brooklyn Price, Shaylan Phillips, and Anthony Klein, and many more students and volunteers are involved in everything from singing and dancing and acting to building sets, prepping costumes, playing in the pit band, running the sound system, and more. I can’t wait to see it on opening night!
