The Rainbow Fish

The Winterset Stage at The Iowa Theater

Gather up your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews or neighbor’s kids for a magical afternoon at the inaugural performance of the Pat Nelson Memorial Children’s Theater with the beloved children’s story, The Rainbow Fish!

The Winterset Stage will bring this vibrant, heartwarming tale of kindness, sharing, and friendship to life on stage with colorful costumes, dazzling sets, and captivating performances that will delight children and adults alike.

They will hold three performances at the Iowa Theater at 10:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm on Saturday, February 1st. Adult tickets are $10 and children attend FREE (Each paid adult ticket includes up to four free child tickets.)

Experience this enchanting story and create lasting memories!

From The Winterset Stage: Pat Nelson was an ardent supporter of theater in Madison County right up until her passing in 2023. She was instrumental in the organization of the Apple Tree Players in the 1970s, and a staunch supporter of The Winterset Stage. She and her husband Jim have made an lasting impact on our community through their charity work and support of the arts, and it is our honor to present this program in Pat’s memory.

The Madison County Sportsmen’s Club is offering a unique opportunity to try various wild game delicacies with delicious sides. There will also be raffles and a silent auction. A donated canned food item will also get you a free raffle ticket!


Knights of Columbus Valentine Gala

Enjoy a special night at the annual St. Joseph Knights of Columbus Valentine Dinner, Dance & Raffle. There will be great food, cash bar, and plenty of fun. Gala tickets are available at Union State Bank Main Bank (Hwy 92) and Village Bootery or from any Knights of Columbus member.

This event is open to all adults, but seating is limited so buy your tickets early.

They are also selling raffle tickets and will give back 50% in a drawing the night of the gala. You do not need to be present to win. All proceeds from this event will benefit the St. Joseph Knights of Columbus Compassion Fund and Hold Our Youth Tight so you can enjoy a special evening and support your community, too!
