A ‘Don’t Miss’ Event!

Live at the Iowa: Satomi Hofmann

Friday & Saturday • July 28 & 29 • 7:00pm
Benefit for the Iowa Theater

Satomi Hofmann, the corset-clad singer who delighted audiences in 2021 with her incredible vocal range, wildly entertaining stage-presence, and her ability to play the spoons (among other instruments), is back by popular demand to present two fundraising concerts for the Iowa Theater. The two performances will include music pulled from multiple genres including musical theater and Irish pub music, and will even feature a guest appearance by some local youth! I was at their rehearsals yesterday and I can attest that you’re going to be blown away by these amazing performers!

Ticket prices range from $100 and $75 for the best seats on the main floor and balcony, to a very affordable $25 for the back balcony, where acoustics are excellent. On Sunday Hofmann will also conduct a Master Class for aspiring vocalists, and will be the guest at the “Beer Choir” sing-along hosted by The Drift and Madison County Music Co.

Tickets can be purchased from the Iowa Theater online or at the door!

Rub elbows and sing with the fabulous Satomi Hofmann hot on the heels of her two fabulous performances at the Iowa Theater! Beer Choir is a social singing event open to all, no talent required! It’s so simple—you get a beer, get a seat, and let yourself be led through a couple hours of hilarious drinking songs from the official songbook, the Beer Choir Hymnal!

Non-beer drinkers are also welcome—The Drift has a great selection of wines, cocktails and soft drinks. And if you just want to drink and listen, you’re welcome, too, but don’t be surprised when you end up joining in the singing! There is no cover charge.
