For 2025, the Iowa Theater is excited to announce that their long running popular Way Back Wednesday program is making a change. Introducing: Throwback Thursday!
We’ve all still got Wicked fever, so in January they’re showcasing some witchy and enchanted favorites. In February, we’ll celebrate couples that find or fall in love despite their circumstances. And in March, head West for some unconventional westerns and nontraditional cowboys – yeehaw!
Showtimes are at 7:00pm and even though the day of the week is changing, delicious popcorn with real butter will swill be half price! Here’s the upcoming schedule…

Introduction to Leather Crafting
Sundays • January 19-February 9 • 2:00-4:00pm
Winterset Art Center
In this four-week class, students will learn basic leather crafting skills: pattern transfer, cutting, beveling, stamping, and applying finishing touches. This class is recommended for ages 13 and over. The cost is $40 and will include the use of tools and all supplies.
