Friday Fish Fry

Fridays • March 7 – April 11 • 5:30-7:00pm
St. Joseph Church, Parish Hall

The season of lent began yesterday so those of you who are foregoing meat on Friday, can enjoy a fish meal each Friday served by the Knights of Columbus at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Fried or baked fish, is accompanied by fried or baked potatoes, coleslaw, baked beans, dinner roll and dessert. A mac and cheese meal is available for kids as well. A free will offering is accepted.

Dr. Greg Rasmussen: Painted Dogs

Greg Rasmussen is a 2023 Indianapolis Prize nominee and wildlife conservation biologist who has studied the critically endangered painted dog, previously known as the African wild dog, for over thirty years, one of the longest studies of the species ever conducted. Working in the Hwange National Park area in Zimbabwe, he is the founder and executive director of Painted Dog Research Trust (PDRT) whose mission is to both continue with research into the species and build for the future of conservation by meaningfully incorporating Zimbabwean students to develop local capacity and tomorrow’s conservationists.

March 18 will feature “Painting Explorations” and the projects on March 20 will be “Collage Creations.” Classes are divided into age groups allowing a comfortable environment for children to express their creativity.
