The Quiet Man

Saturday • March 23 • 2:00pm
John Wayne Matinee Series
The Iowa Theater

Enjoy John Wayne classics as they were meant to be seen—on the big screen—right here in the town where The Duke was born! The John Wayne Birthplace and Iowa Theater are teaming up for a matinee series this spring, and they’re kicking it off in Irish style with The Quiet Man starring Maureen O’Hara along side John Wayne. I can’t say that I’m in love with the storyline of this one, but it does make me dream about a visit to the Emerald Isle! Future films will include The Cowboys (April 27) and True Grit (June 22).
