Fat Tuesday (Shrove Tuesday) Pancake Dinner

Tuesday • March 1 • 5:00 – 7:00pm
St. Paul Lutheran Church

If you don’t get your fill of pancakes on Tuesday—and, really, can one ever have too many pancakes?—dine again on breakfast fare Tuesday night in celebration of Fat Tuesday or Shrove Tuesday. Shrove Tuesday is the day preceding the season of Lent in the Christian church. The association between pancakes and Shrove Tuesday appears to be related to using up butter, eggs, and sugar, foods from which one might fast during Lent.

But even if you’re not the ‘fasting for Lent’ type of person, pancakes are delicious and your free-will donation at this dining event will support the St. Paul Furniture ministry that helps to provide home furnishings for those in need in our community.
