Lily travels from London, England to the Amazon jungle and enlists Frank’s questionable services to guide her downriver on La Quila—his ramshackle-but-charming boat. Thrust on this epic quest together, the unlikely duo encounters innumerable dangers and supernatural forces, all lurking in the deceptive beauty of the lush rainforest. But as the secrets of the lost tree unfold, the stakes reach even higher for Lily and Frank and their fate—and mankind’s—hangs in the balance.. PG-13; 2 hr 7 min

Walk Around the Clock

Wednesday • September 1 • Noon
Winterset Public Library

The monthly “Walk around the Clock” will be held September 1st, at noon, on the square and I’m excited that I get to be the guest DJ this month! My family has helped me create a playlist of upbeat musical theater (Broadway) tunes that includes a selection from both Broadway classics and more recent musicals. Four laps around the square is roughly 1K so get out and walk with us on Wednesday. Your Apple Watch or Fitbit will be happy you did! (so will you)
