Weekend in Winterset, June 6 – 9, 2019

Tonight

Community Band Lawn Chair Night

6:00pm meal with 7:00 pm music
Courthouse Lawn

Like apple pie with ice cream, fresh lemonade, and fireworks on the Fourth of July, there’s just something quintessentially small-town summer about sitting outside and listening to live music where the grown-ups chat between songs and the kids run off to the edges and play or dance along. The Winterset Community band will be making this happen at Lawn Chair Night concerts on the courthouse lawn every Thursday through July 11th. Each week food is available for purchase through a different community group and the Winterset Community Band regales listeners with their talent. Tonight, the VFW Auxiliary will be serving beef burgers, chips, water, ice cream and other desserts. Bring your lawn chair or a blanket and come enjoy a fun evening with fellow community members!
