The Winterset Citizen, July 17, 2020

Congratulations to these hard-working and talented young Madison County citizens who competed to be named Madison County Fair King & Queen. Even though the 2020 fair wasn’t able to happen in the way to which we are accustomed, young people from across the county, and the adults who support them, have still managed to create a county fair experience in a creative and safe way!

This Weekend

Little Shop of Horrors

Playing this weekend at the Iowa Theater
Friday & Saturday • 7:00pm

Meek flower shop assistant Seymour (Rick Moranis) pines for co-worker Audrey (Ellen Greene). During a total eclipse, he discovers an unusual plant he names Audrey II, which feeds only on human flesh and blood. The growing plant attracts a great deal of business for the previously struggling store. After Seymour feeds Audrey’s boyfriend, Orin (Steve Martin), to the plant after Orin’s accidental death, he must come up with more bodies for the increasingly bloodthirsty plant.
