Marvin’s Room

Thursday – Saturday • May 9-11 • 7:00pm
Sunday • May 12 • 2:00pm
The Winterset Stage @ The Iowa Theater

Beloved for its mordant humor and unflinching wisdom, Scott McPherson’s dark comedy allows us a moving view of one woman’s commitment to family and response to despair. This most recent show from the Winterset Stage is a bit different from the plays you’ve seen them produce in the past few years, but the various themes of family, personal struggle and loss are ones to which we can all relate. Tickets are available online through The Winterset Stage and will also be available at the door for each performance (if there are seats remaining).

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
presented by Winterset Ballet & Dance Studio

Friday • 5/10 • 6:00 pm
Saturday • 5/11 • 3:00 pm
Henry C Miller Auditorium

Tickets are on sale for the Winterset Ballet & Dance production including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs plus Kings & Queens. Lots of youngsters in our community will be showing off their hard work and it will be a fun performance to be sure.

Husky Voices Booster Club Fundraiser Breakfast

Saturday • 5/11 • 7:00 – 11:00am
Winterset City Park North Shelter

The WHS Choir is raising funds to replace worn out stoles—the gold collar that accompanies their performance robes. The stoles & robes are both over 15 years old and while the robes are still in pretty good shape, the stoles are really showing their age. You can help support this effort, and enjoy a tasty breakfast, on Saturday, May 11th, at the City Park North Shelter. The Husky Voices Booster club will be serving the breakfast and free will donations will be accepted.
